I'm making candles now.
They're 100% soy, so the burn time is pretty extraordinary. Should be in the shop by the weekend. I LOVE candles - burn them every single day of my life, so this seemed like a natural progression and I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.
I got a birthday gift in the mail today from one of my best friends. She's an amazing artist and I'm so lucky to receive gifts like these. It's a bowl, but I think I'm going to fill it full of wax so I can have my own candle. You can see her work at www.troutybean.com.
Oh, almost forgot - October 24th marks the one year anniversary of my shop opening and I will be releasing a limited perfume to commemorate. More info about that coming soon. :-)

CANDLES. Oh my god CANDLES. I am so excited, you cannot even imagine.
You're funny. :-)
Yeah, I'm pretty excited too!!!
SHUT RIGHT UP! YAY!
AWWWWWWESOMMMMME!!!!
That is a cool head! It will be extra cool with a flame coming out of its head! Wowww. Your candle looks very cool by the way.
I used to make my own candles and I burned them all the time, but I burned the last one, and so candle burning stopped in my house. Not anymore.
Step right up? Hell yeah!
Did you notice I said cool 3 goddamn times in 3 sentences? I hate that word now.
Yeah, I noticed.
It was cool.
:-)
I am a recent new addict to your amazing scents. Just the thought of a candle makes me seriously gleeful.
the candle looks super 'cool' eh Joanna?
really though..you are a master of your craft. i love your things. i want more more more. x
Oh, I hope I didn't miss out on the candles! Ever since I got the Horseman perfume I've been putting a drop or two on the light bulbs of lamps throughout my house so the scent fills the air - of course having a candle would be a whole lot easier :) Please tell me I didn't miss them!!!
