I need opinions, please.

Tell me...... what do you think of my offering 1oz spray perfumes? I'm thinking the alcohol might be a problem for people. BUT the scent goes further and lasts longer. Hmmm... They would, of course, be offered alongside my usual 5ml oils.

I would like to know what you guys think.

I like the idea of the scented oils much better, namely because they are a lot more natural. But I am sure there are other folks that won't be opposed to the alcohol in spray form, namely because that's how most people are used to perfumes nowadays. Most perfume you get from stores is generally alcohol based.

Right. That's exactly my thinking. I think there's something satisfying about spraying your perfume. For one, it gets on your clothing, which lasts longer than on the skin. I think the people who would be interested in a spray are people who like their scent a bit stronger (I'm one of those people, actually).

I'd be very much in favor of spray perfumes! As much as I love your scents, I wish they lasted a bit longer. I would totally buy the sprays, I prefer to spray perfume on clothing anyway because my skin is so sensitive.

go for it! I think you'll find they'd be a success!

Why not give it a shot, maybe start out with just your best sellers, or just your seasonals... see how they sell and what the response is? Personally I probably wouldn't buy them, as alcohol-based perfumes and my skin do NOT agree, but I know that's just me, and most people don't get all itchy-weird from them, so I say do it!

I think I'm going to give it a whirl. Looking for bottles right now that won't break the bank. Scariest part of a new endeavor - the money it takes to start!!

I love sprays so in theory I think it's a great idea. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to buy them as I don't think you're allowed to ship products with alcohol in them internationally, are you? :-(

I prefer scented oils because of the versatility - as well as applying on the skin, I like to apply on my hair too! That's something you can't do with alcohol-based scents (not without ruining your hair anyway). Also, I sometimes add a few drops to a wax of a burning candle as an air fragrance! And alcohol-based items can't be shipped internationally. But having said that, I know perfume sprays are very popular, and I think your shop will become even more wonderful if customers have a choice of spray or oil perfume! I guess that's the key word: choice! So go for it! :)

Hi Lysa. This is an idea i've been toying with the past couple weeks. I finally found perfumers alcohol over here - honest it took me forever! I personally like a stronger scent. I find the oils fade too quickly really. Well..some of them. I want a scent to linger all day long so I say give it a whirl.. xx

@ Tiggy - I found the perfumers alcohol ok - but it's the bottles! Boy oh boy are they expensive! I mean the kind of expensive where you double check to make sure you're looking at the price right. But I put perfume on last night and can still smell it this morning. It must be a combo of wider disbursement and some of it getting on my hair or clothing. Who knows, but I like it! I'm going to try and order my bottles today.

I prefer the oils myself but, I do spray my gym clothes with the alcohol kind. It would be great to have the spray smell amazing like one of your scents as opposed to the unidentifiable semi-coconut stuff I have now. What would you charge?

Both oils and sprays have their pros and their cons. I'd definitely be interested in spray perfume. It lasts longer and I actually like the fact that it wafts a little farther. My skin does tend to react if I use it too frequently, and I like to use a little perfume in my hair, which of course I can't with alcohol based ones. But still! Give it a try, I'd love to see it.
Maybe some time in the future you could even offer specific hair perfume? :D

I prefer sprays hands down In fact, it took me a few extra months to try your wares because they *weren't* sprays. I'd be thrilled to have the option. When my beloved Voix de Vile and Athelia run low, I will dance as I purchase the pray version for Round II.
